The Site

ELT Recovery Ltd owns 10-acre brownfield site on Energy Parkway. The site is located in a highly industrialised area, a zone of green investment and the key to the UK’s energy transition. A large empty site, the planning and permitting has already been obtained for a 22,000 TPA throughput, and provides the base for ELTR’s cutting-edge environmental recovery technology.

ELT Recovery Ltd’s fuel is a ‘drop-in’ renewable fuel, with very little levels of sulphur, and downstream processing that refines products to commercial levels.

The Tech

ELTR’s proprietary technology uses a combination of proven technologies. The integrated process is based on ELTR’s process experience, and the key technology being proven in the market for many years. The plant operates 24 hours a day, contributing significantly to the local economy by processing over 22,000 tons of waste annually, and converting waste into valuable resources.

The site has been cleared to ensure compliance with ecological planning standards, so that construction can begin in 2025, with commissioning expected in early 2027.

Feedstock sourcing for on-site pre-processing (Crumb <6mm)

Pyrolysis technology converts 99.5% of feedstock into recoverable products

Pyrolysis Gas is formed, condensable TPO is removed, and the un-condensable syngas generates electricity

TPO is upgraded, and sent to refineries for co-processing

Refineries blend the sustainable fuel with crude to create SAF.
